What are Partial-Transfer, Total-Transfer, and Non-Transfer?
The “transfer” of VOID tamper-evident materials refers to how the preset security text (such as “VOID” or “OPENED”) and adhesive layer are distributed between the label and the substrate when the label is peeled off.
●Total-Transfer: 100% of the VOID text and adhesive layer are completely transferred onto the substrate surface. The label itself becomes blank and non-adhesive, making it impossible to reuse. Suitable for high-security logistics seals, pharmaceutical packaging, and high-value electronics.
●Partial-Transfer: The security text and part of the adhesive layer remain on the substrate, while the label face material is perforated/destroyed and cannot be restored. Suitable for glossy paper, security envelopes, and single-use seals.
●Non-Transfer: The VOID text appears inside the label face material, leaving the substrate surface clean with no adhesive residue. Suitable for warranty seals on electronic devices such as mobile phones and computers where surface cleanliness must be maintained.
